"Hotel Jyoti is seeminglya obscurehotel tucked into the folds of the Rajkot town quite close to the airport (Rs.100/- by an auto rickshaw) From the outside the hotel looksquiresimple but as you enter the hotel room, the neatness and cleanlinessisstriking typical of the Gujarat pedigree. The hotel does not have a restaurant but room service is available and the staff manage to get hot meals to the room. Free WIFI works well. Inshortthis hotel is Value for Money paid."

"I had a one night stay at this hotel with my family on5/1/15 .We had never expected so much from this hotel at sucha low rates. The rooms are simply fabulous with bigwindows ,bathrooms with luxury fittings.Bedisgood ,rooms aresuperbmaintained and provided withdentalkit ,soaps ,comb,shampoo ,shaving kit & complimentary BF for simply Rs 2230/- for 4 pax incl extra bed. The hotel is centrallylocated ,so we could also visit the Gandhiji's house " Kaba Gandhi nodelo" which wasnear by& also the Rotary Doll museum. I would have given5 starrating if this hotel had its ownrestaurent( The onlydraw back) but a hotel nearby named Kaveri gives good food."

"I was very badly let down by Kavery Hotel, which is closed down for renovations but did not havecourtesyto inform all on their website or even Booking.com, who confirmed my booking, but all my efforts to contact hotel to organise Airport pick-up failed and so took taxi to the hotel, only to find out it's closed for renovations. It was hot but luckily found Hotel Jyoti, justroundthe corner from Kavery Hotel. The owner & reception were very helpful & showed me the room & facilities and was surprised that though much smaller then Kavery, it had most facilities & reasonable room rate. So that's how I found this gem ofhotel. I have visited it three times since May 2016 and found it satisfies most of my needs. I had told the management how the shower area can be improved by placing even a curtain if not the glass screen for water not to splash all over the bathroom, which they are hoping to correct. Now they have a small restaurant, which is handy & serves breakfast too. The breakfast included in the room rate isbasic !All in all, it is a good central hotel with very reasonable rates & management ready to help. Good value for money!"
